She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology and environmental science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. After earning a master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Yo San University, she settled in the Los Angeles area and began her concierge acupuncture service.

Currently, she in the process of completing her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine with an emphasis on Women’s Health and Integrative Reproductive Medicine, Leah is focusing her research on the role of acupuncture treatment in women undergoing IVF.

Leah is passionate about fertility acupuncture and supporting women & couples undergoing assisted reproductive treatments with acupuncture, herbs, and nutritional guidance. She has qualified experience in the treatment of menstrual issues, optimizing fertility, preparing women and couples for egg retrieval and embryo transfers, and coaching women through egg freezing.

In addition to working at Well People, Leah offers in-home services to those who prefer treatment at their residence. She also accompanies clients to most fertility centers to provide acupuncture at the time of the embryo transfer.

Leah loves traveling, paddle boarding, and practicing yoga, and is always searching for the best handmade pasta.

“I started acupuncture with Leah when we had a miscarriage while trying to conceive our second child. Leah supported me through our entire fertility process and our subsequent IVF. She even accompanied me to the fertility clinic and provided acupuncture before and after the embryo transfer! Once pregnant, I continued to get acupuncture treatments with Leah throughout my first trimester to help ease the nausea and headaches I was experiencing. I believe my acupuncture with Leah helped me physically and mentally to achieve a happy, healthy pregnancy and an easy labor.”

“When I first began acupuncture, I was nervous and terrified of needles, but Leah takes the time to get to know you personally and she explains everything going on in your body. She has tremendous patience and is always willing to answer my questions. Now I look forward to seeing Leah because I know she will help me feel better with cupping and needling. Her positive attitude and calm energy really make a difference, and her bedside manner is both professional and delightful. My pain has subsided greatly, and my energy has improved tenfold. I can golf again and return to my garden. I cannot thank her enough!”
